As a complement to the activities of design, Technoproject has the technical and technological capacity to develop work on seismic geophysics and electrical methods.

II. SEISMIC RISK STUDIES

Earth movements vary from one area to another. The seismic risk study determines the potential occurrence of strong quakes in an area or site by providing features such as the magnitude earthquakes and ground motion acceleration. The results of the study are essential to ensure the safety of hydroelectric projects and of other works

Technoproject has collected a large database of earthquakes recorded in Mexico, Argentina, Ecuador and Central America, which has enabled us to develop models and analysis for seismic risk studies.

  • All projects in the course of the Guayllabamba River, Ecuador

III. STUDIES OF DYNAMIC BEHAVIOR OF STRUCTURES

When subjected to strong shaking, concrete structures and earth fill embankments are likely to sustain serious damage with potential losses of human lives and other catastrophic consequences..

The dynamic study provides basic elements for designing earthquake-proof safe structures. It is therefore necessary to carry out the dynamic characterization of materials as well as numerical simulations of the behavior of structures.
