TECHNOPROJECT began in 1992 under the name of Hidroconsultoría, pioneer company in México for the integral design of Hydroelectric Projects.


Technoproject México currently has branches or sister companies in Ecuador (TP Ecuador), Panamá (Estudios y proyectos Técnicos EPT) and Argentina (Technoproject Internacional TPI).


A large amount of that experience was acquired at Comisión Federal de Electricidad (CFE) of México (Federal Electricity Commission) and at Hidroconsultoría, where Technoproject’s Directors and its main specialists worked as designers and managers of several hydroelectric projects and dams, covering the following engineering fields:

Technoproject has the experience of working together with other design firms and international prestige research institutes such as: Electrowatt Switzerland, Coyne et Bellier of France, ICA-Fluor Daniel of México, Intertechne of Brazil, COIGSA of Argentina, Institute of Engineering of México (UNAM), Lenhydroproject of Russia, Ukrhydroproject and Zaporozhgidrostal of Ucrania, China Institute of Water Resources and Hydropower Research of China, Institute of Hydraulic Research and Research Institute of Aseismic IDIA of National University of San Juan Argentina, as well as a full partnership agreement in effect for all areas of expertise; in addition, the frequent joint work with the different areas of engineering design of the Federal Electricity Commission, México.
