POTABLE WATER SUPPLY
DAM CUIRA PROJECT, VEN.

The project Cuira is part of the potable water supply system Tuy IV to the city of Caracas, Venezuela. It is located in the Cuira river and dam is a type CCR arch-gravity height of 132 m with a slope 0.8H: 1V downstream. A diversion tunnel section type trunk 5.5 m in diameter with a discharge capacity of 170 m³/s cofferdam upstream to 82 m elevation. At the dam is free, stepped spillway with 5 spans of 15 m wide for a discharge capacity of 1849 m³/s.

In the right margin is projected one intake tower with 10 gates connected to the dam by three elements of reinforced concrete, the water is channeled through a pipe 3 m in diameter. A bottom discharge with a tower attached to the dam, discharge pipe 3 m in diameter having a radial gate at the end and a flat one.

STORAGE DAM EL REALITO, MEX.
Dam for water storage The Realito river Santa Maria, Guanajuato. Detailed design of the dam, spillway, diversion works and water intake. Monitoring during construction. Preparation of As Built drawings. CCR dam, 90 m high, crown length of 270 m, volume of 420,000 m³, bypass passage: 7.00 x 7.00 m section length 82 m, headworks: dam tower attached to section 7.60 x 4.60 m height of 50 m, design flow: 2 m³/s.
EL YATHÉ DAM, MEX.
The project comprises a rockfill dam with concrete face of 73 m and a volume of approximately 1'750,000 m³ with their complementary works such as diversion, drainage line, the intake and spillway. The work was to develop the geotechnical report of the feasibility of the type of prey and give general recommendations to be considered in the final design.

The opinion was requested after the start of construction under which lacked a reliable project.
TEMASCALTEPEC WATER SYSTEM, MEX.
Through Hidroconsultoría, Technoproject staff performed studies and Executive design ounder contract with the National Water Commission (CNA), a government agency responsible for managing water resources, rivers and dam safety in Mexico. The project would provide 5 m³/s Mexico City from the river Temascaltepec. This is a CCR dam height of 32 m, a pumping station to lift the water about 300 m, 17,000 m of closed conduits, 14,000 m tunnel accessory structures. The scope of services covered hydraulic, structural, electrical, mechanical, geological and geotechnical studies, basic and structural design, including specifications for construction and supply of equipment.
PURGATORIO - ARCEDIANO DIVERSION DAM AND PUMPING SYSTEM, MEX.

The system will derive flow of the Rio Verde about 5 km upstream of its confluence with the James River for delivery to the city of Guadalajara, the object of the system is spending firm grasp of 5.6 m³/s, downloaded prey El Zapotillo (4.8 m³/s) and El Salto (0.8 m³/s), equivalent to a daily volume of 483,840 m³, by a diversion dam at El Purgatorio, on the Rio Verde , whose glass has a storage volume of 3.5 Mm³ pumping equivalent to 7 days without water from the Zapotillo Dam.

The project consists of a derivation pumping and driving (2.4 km) of the daily volume to the tank and changing regulatory regime capable of 240,000 m³ located in the Cerro de Las Mulatas delivery later to make a gravity driving (4.02 km) to the water purification  of San Gaspar. It will be pumped to the tank only control for 20 hours per day, at a rate of 6.72 m³/s.
